Message #68879
[Bug 1728144] [NEW] Cannot choose subnet for floating IP allocation
Public bug reported:
If I have a Neutron external network with more than one subnet, two of
which are marked with service_type "network:floatingip", I should be
able to choose from which subnet I allocate a floating IP from.
The use case here is if I have an external provider network (marked as
router:external) that can host both internally routable floating IPs (in
10/8) as well as public Internet routable IPs.
The Neutron API and CLI already support this:
https://developer.openstack.org/api-ref/network/v2/index.html#create-
floating-ip
-m
