[Bug 1955925] [NEW] process resize VM with openstack queen failed

 

Public bug reported:

Nova compute => 2:17.0.13-0ubuntu4 Openstack Queen.
Hypervisor => KVM + Livbirt

Example resize flavor:

N GRAM to (N+M)GRAM Or CPU. The behaviur it's strange.

process resize by dashboard or cmdline command failed:

Show Error nova-compute.log :

rm -rf /var/lib/nova/instances/UUID_resize 2_resize/console.log:
Permission denied

ls -la /var/lib/nova/instances/UUID/

drwxr-xr-x  2 nova         nova       4096 .
drwxr-xr-x 26 nova         nova       4096 ..
-rw-------  1 root         root      42530  console.log


Exit code: 1
Stdout: u''
Stderr: u"rm: cannot remove '/var/lib/nova/instances/UUID_resize/console.log': Permission denied\n"

sudo rm -fr /var/lib/nova/instances/UUID_resize 2_resize/?
