[Bug 2084905] [NEW] [RFE][OVN] Make use of the new flag 'always_tunnel' to tunnel the E/W traffic between logical switches
Public bug reported:
Since [1], added in OVN 24.09.0, there is a new global flag
"NB_Global:options:always_tunnel" (disabled by default). When enabled,
the E/W traffic routed between logical switched is always tunnelled. The
router port MAC won't be leaked and the MTU issues are handled properly.
That allows to have mixed networks (tunnelled and non-tunnelled) in the
same Logical Router without the MTU issues described in [2][3][4]. With
this option enabled we can skip the LR configuration for VLAN/flat
networks ("reside-on-redirect-chassis" and "redirect-type" options) that
depends on the type of networks connected to the router.
