Title:
Resize operations: add note about root disk status
Status in OpenStack Compute (nova):
New
Bug description:
Talking about the following doc page:
https://docs.openstack.org/nova/latest/user/resize.html
It would be nice to add a note explaining the state of the server root
/ boot disk after the operation.
Is the original content kept ? (F.e.: The software that has been
installed, home directories, etc.)
In case of a size growth, explain the the partition & filesystem will
*not* be enlarged, and that this needs to be taken care from within
the running VM.
etc.
Maybe this is already documented elsewhere, so just adding a link
would be fine then.
I hope this is the right place to report this issue, if not please
tell where this should go.
