We are facing an issue when trying to evacuate a compute host
(sfcpt-10433-001.dc.corp) in our OpenStack environment. Cold migration
of instances (even powered-off ones) consistently fails.

>From the nova-compute logs, the migration process reaches the step where
os-brick attempts to disconnect the iSCSI multipath volume. At this
point, the command multipath -f <WWID> fails with the following error:

oslo_concurrency.processutils.ProcessExecutionError: Unexpected error while running command.

This behavior is reproducible with several different volumes (examples
of affected WWIDs:

).

Impact:

It prevents us from migrating or evacuating instances from the host.
