Title:
  Check for availability of desktop-file-validate when running configure
  script

Status in Activity Log Manager for Zeitgeist:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  In data/Makefile.am we have desktop-file-validate which checks the
  .desktop files for validity. In chrooted environments this fails since
  it needs desktop-file-utils (ubuntu)

  Check this before going ahead in configure script
