Hi,
ever since Google stopped their notebook plugin I have been looking
for a way to select text on a web page and send it to a local storage
together with the URL of the page where I found the info as I found
that having the link alone does not tell me what interesting things I
found there some months later.
I am looking into creating an extension for Firefox which does this to
zim, but I somehow need to interact with zim as I have found that
changing data 'under zim's feet' tend to force me to stop zim and
start again. Any pointers to python files where I can look for classes
and methods that make it possible to do 'surgery on a running heart'
would be helpful.
