Hello again,

there should be (an) option(s) that Windows file links are recognized with
the standard separator '\' and without the "file:///" prefix.

In that context:
Regex triggered actions would be really valuable, managed by an file:
Regex=Action

Whenever the Regex is found in an text, the action is executed. With
some options like
1. Executed on demand
2. Executed one time
3. Excuted on text change
...
