Okay, I tried the portable version, and it starts up okay, but it does not
read in my gtkrc settings from -
C:\work\ZimDesktopWikiPortable\App\ZimDesktopWiki\etc\gtk-2.0\gtkrc

Here are the contents of my gtkrc - this used to give me walnut colored
text on a cream background

gtk-theme-name = "MS-Windows"

style "mycolors"
{
  base[NORMAL] = "#fffadf"
  text[NORMAL] = "#3d270c"
  base[SELECTED] = "#6699cc"   # npp deep black
}

widget "*.zim-pageview" style "mycolors"
widget "*.zim-pageindex" style "mycolors"
class "GtkWidget" style "mycolors
