zim spell checker, wrong language for user interface?

Hi.

Ubuntu 16.04, zim 0.65.

set | grep LAN
GDM_LANG=en_US
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=en_US

Going to the help pages, the language dialog is not english.
Can someone explain this? See attachent.
