You can redefine how "pre" and "code" render, but it will only give
you one color. More importantly in e.g. export it will still be
handled as verbatim blocks.
Currently there is no easy way to extend the number of format tags
because they also need to be defined in the wiki syntax and all export
formats.

Thanks Jaap
I want a style that just highlights in a colour (eg yellow)
(I had been thinking of redefining Pre)
I can easily create a style that does this
But can I, as a user, create a way to use that style
eg by defining a shortcut?

Pre and code both map to verbatim in the menu. Pre is for blocks
and code is for inline verbatim tags.
H6 is supported in some cases but not available in the menu.

In style.conf I can see some styles defined
[Tag code], [Tag pre], [Tag h6]
but I don't know what the shortcut is to use them
(eg I can use [Tag emphasis] with control-I or Format/emphasis )
Anybody know how to use these tags in your text?
(hope I am posting this correctly)
