like most people here realize: good PR will do the trick. tell the people timely, inform them about the radiant enlightenment that awaits them, and they will embrace the changes thankfully as soon as they are provided with them.
obfuscation and secrecy work well for some companies, in the open source world it's all about transparency and openness..
the question at hand is easily answered, considering the foundation on which all of this is built upon.
