Re: [Bug 806556] Re: HDMI out is limited to 640x480
I checked that again. Unfortunately same behaviour.
First time I plugged HDMI I even had a picture in picture situation,
the external screen showing 640x480 pixel of the ac100 screen. But the
option 'same image in all monitors' of the Monitor preferences GUI was
greyed out.
I then managed to separate the screens, but still I have no
possibilities to modify the resolution of the external screen.
I ask myself if the 16:10 screen is the source of the problem...

Title:
HDMI out is limited to 640x480
Status in Enablement project for the Toshiba AC100 NetBook:
New
Bug description:
I can activate HDMI output on a running ac100 or boot with HDMI cable
plugged. Howewer the resolution of my external 1680x1050 (16:10)
screen would always be limited to 640x480 (4:3). I cannot change this
value.
Screen detection would not be possible. The external screen remains
<unknown>
Attached file is a Xorg.0.log with external screen plugged on boot.
