Message #00582
call for testers
Hi,
it's been some time since the last kernel update and ubuntu precise is
nearing. My experimental branch contains some bugfiles (relative to 3.0.8-4)
including everything up to 3.0.19. Sound support should be pretty stable now
(including microphone support - BIG THANKS goes to Andrey and Leon for keeping
an eye on it).
Other fixes/updates: usb hotplugging, fix crash in tegrapart, wifi updates,
zcache and frontcache updates, watchdog driver, hw crypto driver, ... sorry,
just too much for this small mail.
known issues: eh - none so far (ok, there is a minor problem with zcache
reporting negative values for something, but a fix is underway).
So everyone who likes to test it, here it is:
git clone git://gitorious.org/~marvin24/ac100/marvin24s-kernel.git chromeos-
ac100-3.0-exp
or for people too lazy to compile themself:

modules: http://tinyurl.com/7tefqa7
Please try to stress test it, check if suspend works.
If you have problems with suspend, please also report your ac100 model, output
of "dmesg | grep SKU", if you are using nvidia binary xorg driver or
framebuffer, if it fails during suspend or during resume, anything else which
looks strange ...
I hope we can promote this kernel to stable and make it a nice default for
upcoming distros. As always, online help is available on our irc channel
#ac100 on freenode or via this ml.
Thanks and happy testing!
Marc
