Hi,
I just upgraded to 12.04 beta1. I was hoping that the sound was all 
going to be working at last in this release, but nothing works out of 
the box. I have played with alsamixer settings and cannot get anything 
more than clicks from the speakers, and nothing at all from the 
headphone socket. The commands on the ARM/TEGRA/AC100 home page are out 
of date -- I get

$ sudo amixer set 'Line',0 unmute
amixer: Unable to find simple control 'Line',0

The only advice I can find on any list anywhere is to play with 
alsamixer. Also as far as I can tell, no-one has ever had the headphone 
socket working with any kernel other than 2.6.38-1000-ac100. Can this be 
right? Can anyone save me from having to go back to Oneiric?
