Hello,
Same microphone problem with a ACER Aspire 3810T-354G32N running   
ubuntu 9.04 64-bit,
no way to  have any recording or input,
is this frequent on ACER Aspire 3810T-354G32N ?
does anybody tried external micrphones ?
