Re: Aspire 3410T - HDMI works perfectly, pictures and sound

 

Ah yes, virtual resolution - I had forgotten that I had previously set
that up for dual monitors over VGA. It would be nice to be able to adjust
this for a running X server, so much else can be done on the fly these
days.

The other problems you had, I have not seen. The internal display
resolution stayed just fine, and a short You Tube "HD" film (10
minutes)had sound and video perfectly in sync. (I did download it first
using Miro, internet TV application, available in the repositories).
