For those who haven't heard yet, there is a fix for suspend.

fix:
Change GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="i8042.reset=1" in 
/etc/default/grub.
Run sudo update-grub.
Reboot.
