File uploads were turned off by default in MediaWiki. I did not know that.
I've turned it on now.
You should be able to upload a file at:
http://nkarthiks.info/acmeattic/index.php?title=Special:Upload

I've uploaded a sample image as Tux.png
I would include the image in the wiki as
[[File:Tux.png]]

The file size limit is 20MB default. Let me know if I need to increase it.
Only registered users can upload files.

Great. Now, I've added the image properly to the Implementation page. See http://nkarthiks.info/acmeattic/index.php?title=Implementation The page has also been updated with some more details.

PS: I slightly hate specifically changing the 'To' address when replying to emails from the mailing list. I think this is another style of mailing lists where people who write to the list are always on the to/cc list. You can configure specific filters to make those messages stay in your inbox. This makes a lot of sense for very large mailing lists.

I am using Thunderbird, which has a separate button to reply to list. It works great. Perhaps you should try it. Also, you should avoid top-posting in emails where you refer to parts of the mail you are replying to. It makes it difficult to read and also to coherently reply to your response.
