Thanks - been looking for something that does this for quite some time
and it runs excellently in Ubuntu.

When running Windows 7 (64 bit) and attempting to load any RSS feed in
v0.5, an error dialog pops up with: "XML Parser error: failed to load
HTTP resource." These RSS feeds were able to be viewed in my browser
normally.

Tested with:
http://rss.cnn.com/rss/edition.rss
http://rss.weather.com/rss/national/rss_nwf_rss.xml?cm_ven=NWF&cm_cat=rss&par=NWF_rss
A custom Yahoo Pipes rss feed
