[Bug 586557] Re: apport-collect BUGNUMBER fails for xorg-server because it's not a real package
Hmm, not sure why this didn't automatically close, but the xorg-server
package name is included in the apport hooks now:
usr/share/apport/package-hooks/source_xorg.py usr/share/apport/package-
hooks/source_xorg-server.py
Feel free to open (with new examples) if it remains non-working for some
reason.

Title:
apport-collect BUGNUMBER fails for xorg-server because it's not a real package
Status in Arsenal:
Invalid
Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
The script takes reassigned xorg-server bugs without apport information and asks the reporter to 'apport-collect BUGNUMBER'. However, apport can't collect xorg-server information because it's not a real package. It shows this instead:
"Package xorg-server not installed and no hook available, ignoring
No additional information collected."
