This is,as far as I know a known Intel VGA card bug found in the
latest kernel shipped with Lucid.

I'm gonna get on a howto tomorrow describing the various solutions to
the ul30vt depending on what you want to run,i'll email a link to this
list tomorrow.

The solution is to downgrade to an earlier kernel,cant remember which
one on the top of my head.
