I have a UL90vt-A1 that I took the final leap and finally installed
ubuntu on it.

I went for the amd64 desktop live cd installation.  After install
everything was working great, except the LCD would keep refreshing
"zapping" so I decided to click the button to load up the restricted
drivers and X endlessly crashed.

I was wondering if anyone had written up a LTS 10.04 "howto" ?

Or if anyone has a solution for the flicker?
