I was looking into the synaptic (touchpad) daemon which disables the
touchpad while you type.  Apparently, there's supposed to be a Touchpad
tab in the Mouse preferences where this can be easily enabled.  Although
multi-touch gestures work, two-finger scroll works, etc I have no such
tab.  

Do the rest of you have it?
