I've seen a bunch of HOWTOs for ubuntu karmic/9.10, but I'm not sure if 
it works with the current skype and lucid.

Anyone have it working with lucid on an amd64 box and the current 
(2.1.0.81-1) version of skype?

I tried various varitions on the 
"LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib32/libv4l/v4l2convert.so /usr/bin/skype" variation. 
 But I noticed that skype doesn't currently use that library:
$ ldd /usr/bin/skype | grep v4l2convert
$

I also tried v4l2ucp with various preloads for the v4l libraries from 
lucid as well as PPA to try to get the option to flip vertical... 
without luck.

If someone has it working with the current lucid/skype could they post 
the details?
