Hi,

Yesterday my machine locked up after running for a while, but I didn't
really investigate.
Right now it locked again. After the last lock up I also lost network
connection and the nm-applet doesn't show up anymore.
Any ideas why this happens? I have the SATA on IDE (in the bios) and
boot vga controller for windows 7/vista.
If I change the vga controller to other, the back light does not seem to work.
I can also use some help in tracking this problem, because I am no log
file expert.
