Re: other translations

Well, I guess you can only start translating in the languages that you
have told Launchpad you speak. As I have put Dutch, English, French,
Spanish, I can start translating in those 3 languages, as you can see
in the screenshot.
Once a translation has been started, you can contribute to it, but you
can not start it if you don't "speak" the language.

This is an extract from the language preference page
https://launchpad.net/~USERNAME/+editlanguages
Launchpad Translations allows you to translate a project into your
preferred languages.

I guess that you will have to say you speak Galician for example to
"import" the strings...

Please remember that some strings have been changed when I translated
the application into English, so don't just copy/paste the strings
from the original .po file because the sentence may have changed.

Also, I don't know if you have seen it, but there is a useful tool
that you can use to translate. You can set the option to see the
string in another language:
    using <LANGUAGE> as a guide
if you set this to Italian, you will be able to search more easily in
the original .po file that has the strings in Italian...

Have fun translating!
