The problem was not related to Birdie, it was a Plank bug.

** Description changed:

- Clicking Birdie Plank icon is not working. Launching it from any other
- way works like a charm.
+ Clicking Birdie Plank icon is not working after fetching all tweets
+ after adding a new account, when the "0" badge is shown like bug
+ #1177931 explains.

** Changed in: birdie
       Status: Incomplete => Invalid
