i have also changed another one through dconf editor but still take no effect
atc@ATC:~$ gsettings get com.solus-project.budgie-wm button-layout
'minimize,maximize,close:appmenu'

  dconf editor the window-button settings function no useable

Status in Ubuntu Budgie:
  New

Bug description:
  I set the key
  org -> gnome -> desktop -> wm -> preferences -> button-layout

  Changing it to: 
  close,minimize,maximize:

  Or use 
  gsettings set  org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout 'close,minimize,maximize:'
  Doesn't take effect 
  So any solutions?
  Is it a bug?
