Processor being hammered

I'm running the latest version of Ubuntu Budgie and the processor is
being hammered by three processes which between them use about 70% of
the processor tracker-miner-fs and two other tracker processes. Is
there likely to be a fix for this please? I can't use this with the
racket from my cooling fan :)
