The mis-formatting that Alexander reports below in the chm
presentation co-incides exactly with the corrupted rendering with IE6
and IE7 that I bug-reported in bug #417628.

Maybe there is a common cause? (As an aside, I note that none of the
pages linked from the Sphynx site showing how sphynx is used by other
projects have this display problem, but none of them have a RHS
navigation panel.)
