You're right it's a problem of timeout, break aftr 7min30s (450), in my config file I have :
openerp.server.timeout = 450
but using configurator, I checked in screen "Install Application", all applications. I use allinone and this parameter is automatically added in the config file.
I suggest you to give more time to install all applications ( I have a  a good notebook, and connected in localhost).

when I check all general modules, after a time I have this error :
