[Bug 690636] [NEW] [V6.Trunk] HR - Work phone is read-only and inherited - this field must be free for writing

Hello,
When trying to import data on hr.employee, I noticed that the work phone
field is no more a "free entry" field.
In V6 this field is read-only and inherited from the "phone" field of
the partner address.
>From a functional dtandpoint, It hink this approach is a regression,
because this field don't show the phone number of the employee anymore
but now shows instead the central call number of the company/partner.
Normally this field work phone number is used by HR clerk if he wants to
contact directly the employee, so the central phone number of the
company has no added-value. HR clerk will call the central number and
then will loose time for finding the employee direct number...
In regards to that I see two solutions:
- Defining the current "work phone" of hr.employee as "free entry" field as it was in V5
or
- Keeping the current" work phon"e field as it is now, but adding
another "free entry" field named "Direct work phone" , where you can
manually put the direct call number.
