Don't clearly undestand the solution.

How can you select this feature for the GTK client only. The user
profile is used in the two kind of clients so when you define an Home
action in the GTK it will be define for the web client. And it seem to
be an interestinng feature for users and administrators.

Need to use it to complete. Not an emergency.

  Creating a user with an action set in the field Home Action, then when
  this user logs in, OpenERP start in a new tab.
