The menu entry "Addresses" is only visible underneath "Sales/Address Book/" not underneath "Purchases/Address Book/".
The address entries themselves are usable anywhere that's right.

If it were a basic configuration and not bounded to Sales or Purchase the "Addresses" menu should not be located underneath "Sales/Address Book/". It should get a completely new top level entry within the menu.
Furthermore if the "Addresses" menu would be a basic menu and would not be related to the sales menu even though it's locate underneath the "Sales/Address Book/Addresses" it should not have a predefined search filter showing only costumer addresses. Since is it supposed to be generic it should by default show suppliers as well.


I created a customized menu entry in my installation but I still think the basic configuration of the base_contact module should provide one as well.

  The base_contact module creates the menu entry "Sales/Address Book/Addresses".
