[Bug 708773] Re: [6.0.1] Base_module_record: no recording sessions anymore
Hello Amit,
Thanks for your video.
Maybe I should have been more precise in my description of my question,
because I still think there is a regression between in V5 and V6.
In V6, with the you just have the option to export the customization as
a module/data file. This means that you need to know the data model and
that you must be careful not forgiving any object.
In V5, you had the above option, but you had also menus "Start Recording" and "Stop recording": this was very useful
-when you wanted to save a set of modification that your performed during the day, because you didn't have to remember in which objects you made the changes...
-Furthermore, it was very useful to record into a module the screen modifications done via the "manage views" option in the Web-client (adding, hiding fields in the XML views).
Do you know if it is planned to have that feature start/stop recording
again in V6 ?
Regards,
Bernard

Title:
[6.0.1] Base_module_record: no recording sessions anymore
Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
Invalid
Bug description:
Hello,
In V6, base_module_record does not allow to make recording sessions
like in V5.
This feature was really useful when you wanted to create a small
module with i.e. screen modifications.
Is that feature out for V6 or is it a bug ?
Regards,
Bernard
