recalling a discussion on the expert list the decission was taken to
allow encodings only  for type "normal" and parent items must be of ype
"view"

IMHO this must be also enforced for analytic accounts.

BTW it would be helpful to show the type in tree/list view of analytic
accounts

please modify the demo data accordingly -  
all demo data ore of type "normal"
