Its not maintained from client side.
Actually logs are mentioned on actions. So if any action found log entry server side then it will display.

Title:
  the log of a lead opens an opportunity form view

Status in OpenERP Web Client:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  to test :
  - create a new lead
  - change the stage to "new" (with the right arrow)
  - a log appears, click on it
  - the opportunity view opens itself (while the message was "The stage of lead ".." has been changed to new)

  Actually, each change of stage create a log which leads to the
  opportunity view. These log (change of stage) shouldn't be visible
  (mark as already read)
