I have checked you issue in trunk and stable 6.0 at my end but all are
working as expected.

When you open the supplier list view by default supplier filter is true.

So I am closing this bug.

I have attached a video for your reference so please check it.

Title:
  The Purchase->Suppliers menus show all partners, not only suppliers

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Everything is in the title. When you go to Sale->Customers, only
  Customers are showed by default (but you can change this with the
  search view). However, for the Purchase->Suppliers menus, it's not the
  case : all partners are showed.

  How to fix :

  Add a search view in the suppliers list view with "Supplier" filter
  checked by default.
