Public bug reported:

v6 menu enhancements are a clear winner and cut down on significant menu
hopping.

However, customer feedback reports that when using the shortcuts, any
menu item already selected in the left hand menu option may cause
confusion with less technicaly able users who may not realise where in
the menu system they are as the shortcuts used do not trigger a
corresponding cange in the left hand menu.

For example, if the user is in the Projects area and then clicks on
shortcuts at the top that is in the CRM module, they are correctly
navigated to the page, but the module buttons and menu items still shows
as if in Projects module.
