[Bug 736801] [NEW] Time zone issue on windows (OpenERP 6.0.1)
Public bug reported:
Hi,
OpenERP is not taking time-zone correctly on windows. The time zone set on windows is Central Time (US & Canada).
The time zone set for user on openerp is America/Chicago. When displaying the date and time it is showing 5 hours backward. We tried to start server with argument --timezone and it is not showing any difference. We have to set the user time zone to GMT to display correct time. We are running the client from the same computer from which the server is running.
Version of server and client us 6.0.1 stable version.
Version of windows is Server 2003 R2, Standard Edition, Service Pack 2.
Please provide a solution so that if the time zone of computer and user is same, then it shows the exact time saved on the database.
Thanks,
Mohammed Jabir
