When you use payment terms, the field "Description on invoices" that you can define under "Accounting->Configuration->Miscellaneous->Payment Terms" is the term you expect to appear on the invoice.
This is the case for the report "Invoice with Layout and Message" but for the report "Invoices with Layout" the term the title of the payment term precedes the description.

In addition, the "Description on invoices" is not localized so it does
not follow the customer's language.
