[Bug 721180] Re: [6.0] crm - no more ticket number ?

 

I have to correct myself
*** it is MANDATORY that a bug/request tracker system has to reply on opening a request sending the id back to the requestor with some polite text ....

why?
* all tracking system do it  - could be not necessary though but...
* the requestor wants to add somthing to the first request (this happens all the time) before anyone answers , currently every mail without reference to the first request creates a new case , and we do not have any possibility to merge cases.

  New

Bug description:
  in v5 we had "visible" ticket numbers which have also been printed in the "subject" of emails
  this information is not available nay more - neither in mails not in in forms
  how should the communication with partners etc work now ?
