could it be you set this as default values? Other way round: can't you
set blanks as default value?

  opening suppliers sets a default filter
  suppliers
  Sales team (from user)
  Salesman (current user)

  * Supplier has not much to do with sales organisation
  * to get suppliers - 2 clicks : clear + suppliers necessary
