[Bug 716319] Re: hr_holiday : There is not possible to define national holidays.

like suggested i'll post my mail as a comment.

Could you please tell me, what exactly is planned for this feature?

We often stumble upon handling of Calendars, legal resp. national Holidays in OpenERP.
What are the current possibilities - manually registering them via "Leave Requests"?
Do you know of any Solution for calculating/importing national Holidays?

But if we just setup national Holidays in HR, they are not available in MRP and so not excluded from the planning, right?
Is there already a Blueprint for this or even a Solution?

Also generally, for our purposes we lack the Feature of a "central calendar", which includes Meetings, Holidays, Workorders,...
What would be a Solution for this - a VIEW? Someone already created a Improvment Idea: http://feedback.openerp.com/forums/77459-general-improvements/suggestions/1463893-people-calendar?ref=title

Another Question regarding HR / Payroll - does it somehow cover overtime
hours?
