Public bug reported:

Open a proposed PO, and 
go and edit the product and 
change the supplier in the product definition, add a new supplier, perhaps for more visibility add a new supplier code, change the sequence of this supplier to be the first.

Upon save the order does not get changed.
The product is still required from the old supplier (and keeping the old name and reference) even if the new supplier is selected from the supplier field.

Perhaps I was not very clear, I can give more info on demand.
