Hello,

I have checked your issue at my end. But you have misunderstand
something.

According to  your screen-shot your have opened  the invoice form from the purchase order-> delivery & invoicing tab.>invoices .
For many2many field behaviour you can see OK and CANCEL button everywhere, So this cancel button is used to close the pop-up window.


>From your screen-shot the main cancel button is used to cancel the invoice and the other cancel button is comes from the many2many behaviour for close the pop-up window. So this is not a bug and I am closing this issue hope this will help you.

  Cancel buttons confusion

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):

Bug description:
  Not a bug, rather a wishlist !

  see attached PDF to see what's the issue : in lots of forms you find two Cancel buttons, one for
  cancelling the form, one for cancelling the function inside the form.

  I think it'll be a good thing to systematically fire a confirmation message on cancelling the function inside the form !
  Usually the Button inside the form is larger of the one for cancelling the form and users tends to click on the larger one !
