[Bug 794584] [NEW] [users_ldap] Wishlist: populate OpenERP user base from LDAP

Public bug reported:

Hi,

the current functionality of users_ldap consists of authenticating
users, creating new user accounts in OpenERP at that moment. However,
users usually need specific group permissions or employee records to
actually do anything useful. It would be useful if the user account
could be created before the user's first login, so that their OpenERP
user account can be preconfigured. This allows the new user to get
started right away.

I suggest an option to populate the OpenERP user base with new users
found in the configured LDAP. This method could be called from the LDAP
configuration screen or in a scheduled task.

Cheers,
Stefan.

** Affects: openobject-addons
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
