Message #29426
[Bug 817006] [NEW] [trunk] account_asset - things still to do
Public bug reported:
Hi, I just installed the new account_asset and it looks great.
few things that I identified:
1 - the account_asset_asset wont get created from the invoice - is this unfinished or bug?
2 - the Depreciation Entry in the Depreciation Lines form, if you want to manually link it to an existing transaction, although will get linked in the account_asset_asset.move_id, it doesnt update the account_move_line.asset_id for that and as such it wont update the residual value.
3 - additional functionality needed: allow to skip (surpass) certain periods (account_asset_depreciation_line), so it doesnt post the entry, but it treats it as depreciated.
Reason: when you already have a fixed asset register and want to bring
this into OpenERP, you will probably want to bring all the register
entries, yet still maintain the register with the correct values
(date_start, periods etc) without having to run the depreciation for an
asset from the begining.
** Affects: openobject-addons
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
