Hello Michael,
You're right, the Import Inventory wizard messes the UoM in that case,
thanks for reporting it!

Title:
Physical Inventories: Import Inventory fails to use the correct UoM in
some cases
Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
Confirmed
Bug description:
I'm testing the OpenERP 6.0.3 with the demo data.
I just encountered a problem using import inventory button in physical inventory.
For example,
UNITS OF MEASURE:
PCE: with ratio = 1
CAS: bigger than the reference with ratio 24
PRODUCT:
CPU1
Default UoM: CAS
Purchase UoM: CAS
SCENARIO:
Using Physical Inventory, I added this sample:
Reference: Beginning Inventory
Location: Shop 1
Product: CPU1
Qty: 12
UoM: PCE
So the stock of CPU1 in Shop 1 has 12 PCE or 0.5 CAS
Then I created another Physical Inventory but I tried the import inventory button.
I imported the stocks of Shop 1 but the result is
Location: Shop 1
Product: CPU1
Qty: 12
UoM: CAS
This is absolutely wrong since the stock of CPU1 is only 12 PCE.
